Inaugural Narromine Region Business Awards Celebrate Local Excellence
The inaugural Narromine Region Business Awards have been hailed an outstanding success, with more than 240 guests coming together on Saturday evening to celebrate the businesses, organisations and individuals who make the Narromine Region such a vibrant place to live, work and do business.
Held at the Narromine USMC, the sold-out event recognised business excellence across 15 award categories, following an incredible response from the community that included 91 award submissions, 71 finalists and more than 3,200 public votes.
Narromine Business Collective Co-President Felicity Roberts said the evening was a proud moment for the region and a fitting celebration of the strength of the local business community.
"These awards were created to recognise the people and businesses who work tirelessly behind the scenes every day, and Saturday night exceeded anything we could have imagined," Mrs Roberts said.
"To see more than 240 people come together to celebrate local success was incredibly special. The atmosphere in the room was electric, and it was a wonderful reminder of just how proud we are of our region."
Guests were welcomed with live music from Al Smith before enjoying an evening of awards, entertainment and celebration, with local favourite Ballz n All keeping the dance floor full well into the night.
The Narromine Business Collective was also honoured to welcome Member for Dubbo, Dugald Saunders MP, who presented the three People's Choice Awards, recognising businesses and individuals voted by the community.
The Narromine Business Collective thanked the independent judging panel, who generously volunteered their time to assess every submission. Judges praised the exceptional calibre of businesses across the region, noting that several categories featured more finalists than originally anticipated due to the high standard of entries.
The evening would not have been possible without the generosity of sponsors and supporters.

The Narromine Business Collective also acknowledged the Narromine USMC for hosting a fantastic evening and delivering exceptional hospitality throughout the event.
Above all, the committee thanked the volunteers whose dedication over the past 12 months brought the inaugural awards to life.
"This event has been built entirely through the passion and commitment of volunteers who believed our region deserved a night like this," Mrs Roberts said.
"From planning and sponsorship through to judging, marketing, ticket sales and event delivery, it's been a true community effort. We couldn't be prouder of what we've achieved together."
