It’s time to celebrate the people and businesses that make our region what it is.
Nominations are now officially open for the inaugural Narromine Region Business Awards 2026, and we’re inviting the entire community to get involved.
From standout customer service to strong leadership, innovation and community impact — these Awards are about recognising the businesses and individuals who go above and beyond across the Narromine Shire.
Who can nominate?
Anyone.
Whether you’re a business owner, employee, customer or community member, you can submit a nomination.
If you’ve experienced a business that consistently delivers, supports the community or simply does things well — this is your opportunity to recognise it.
You can nominate your own business, your workplace, or another business you believe deserves to be celebrated.

Nominations are open for 30 days only, so we encourage you to get involved early.
How to nominate
Submitting a nomination is simple — and free.
You can:
Complete an online nomination via our website
Or pick up a paper form from selected stores across Tomingley, Trangie and Narromine
Completed forms can also be posted to PO Box 99, Narromine NSW 2821
Make sure all entries are submitted before the closing date. Late or incomplete entries may not be accepted.
What happens next?
Once nominations are received, eligible businesses will be contacted and invited to complete a submission pack.
This is their opportunity to share more about their business — including their achievements, impact and what makes them stand out.
Submissions will then be reviewed by our independent judging panel, ensuring a fair and credible process across all categories.
Award categories
With 15 award categories, the Awards recognise a wide range of industries, business sizes and contributions.
From Best New Business and Employer of the Year, to Tradie of the Year and Narromine’s Favourite Business, there’s a category for every type of business and success story.

Eligibility
To be eligible, businesses must:
Hold a valid ABN
Be actively trading in the Narromine Region (minimum 24 months, excluding New Business category)
Operate within postcodes 2821, 2823 and 2869, or demonstrate contribution to the local economy
Meet the criteria for the selected category
For individual awards, nominees must be currently employed by the business at the time of judging.
